SPJ/ONA DePaul Begins Code of Ethics Review

Despite wind chills that hit minus-30 degrees, SPJ/ONA DePaul’s executive board met with the organization’s membership on Jan. 17 to review the SPJ Code of Ethics and begin drafting changes.

The exercise is part of the national organization’s first review of the code since it was last updated in 1996.

SPJ/ONA DePaul will meet again in February with members, and possibly some DePaul journalism faculty, to finalize suggested changes before sending them to the SPJ national ethics committee.
