-Green Bay Press Gazette news intern

“USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin has an excellent opportunity for experienced college or recently graduated reporters to join our staff through a 12-week, full-time, paid summer reporting internship in our Green Bay newsroom. You’ll become part of our team of award-winning team of journalists, grow as a reporter and writer, and write a lot of stories. We will put you to work.You’ll learn about what to write, how to write it well and how to get an audience to read it. The purpose of our internship experience is to provide opportunities for college students to develop, grow and become the next generation of talent for the nationwide USA TODAY NETWORK.”

–Do312 Social Media Internship

“The social media intern will be working directly with the Social Media and Marketing Assistant in maintaining Do312’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. They will also assist in the development of new promotional ideas using social media platforms. Along with social media duties, the intern will also assist with the general site content and updates. This is an unpaid internship, but we can provide college credit.”

-Chicago Magazine Editorial Internships

“Chicago magazine’s editorial department seeks motivated, enthusiastic journalism students and recent graduates to help with fact checking and story research. Interns are also encouraged to pitch ideas and write for various sections of the magazine. Our paid positions are four to five days a week, so please state your availability in your application.“

Interested candidates can e-mail internships@chicagomag.com and should include their resume, writing samples and a cover letter. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. 

-Modern Luxury Editorial Design Internship

“Modern Luxury is seeking talented designers to join our Chicago-based team for the Editorial Design Summer Internship Program. This is a hands-on and intensive internship suitable only for someone who has a strong interest in magazine editorial design. Candidates must be skilled in Adobe InDesign with an understanding of design, typography and photography. Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to: backing up full-time designers with assigned publications, preparing art for print, organizing content on shared servers and completing a final project collaborating with other department interns. Looking for students with a positive attitude who are ready to learn!”

Strong organizational and time-management skills are a must. Duties also include creating some graphics, desktop editing and producing content for our digital platforms. Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.”
